The Canada Games 4-Person Team Curling Trials will be held April 16-19, 2026 at Pembina Curling Club. The Canada Games Mixed Doubles Curling Trials (Dynasty Junior Mixed Doubles Provincial Championship presented by Access Credit Union) will be held April 9-12, 2026 at Pembina Curling Club. The Canada Games Curling Trials will determine Manitoba’s representatives at the 2027 Canada Winter Games in Quebec City, Quebec from February 26 to March 15, 2027.
The two winning 4-person teams and the winning mixed doubles team will be invited to participate in a Training Program for the season leading to the 2027 Canada Winter Games. They will be provided with opportunities for fitness testing and training, nutritional workshops, sport psychology sessions, strategy sessions, technical refinement and brushing enhancement. CurlManitoba’s High Performance Director will mentor the team coaches, as well as work closely with the teams and coaches in preparation for the upcoming games.

Note: Athletes that identify as men are eligible to compete in both the U-18 Men’s and the U-21 Mixed Doubles events if they meet the eligibility criteria. Athletes that identify as women are not eligible to compete in both the U-18 Women’s and the U-21 Mixed Doubles events because the competitions are occurring during the same week.

The coaching requirements at the 2027 Canada Winter Games requires the coach to meet one of the following certification requirements:
Coaches must be certified no later than 45 days before the opening of the Games (by January 12, 2027)
Curling Canada will require additional sport safety activities to be completed by provincial winners.
