After the first two+ weeks, Kerri Einarson and her 2020 Scotties Champion team, who missed their chance to go to a World Championship due to the pandemic, are the #1 team in the People’s Choice voting for Manitoba’s Most Notable Curling Team.
In the opening weeks, the Manitoba Curling Hall of Fame’s Most Notable Manitoba Curling Team fund-raising project has received over $1,000 in People’s Choice donation-votes. Eleven of the MCHoF&M’s original list of 25 teams have received support. In addition two teams have received Wild Card write-in support.
Behind the Einarson team at the top of the list is a pair of Granite teams – Terry Braunstein’s 1958 High School champions who lost the Brier final and Don Duguid’s undefeated 1970 and 1971 World Champions.
