CurlManitoba is hosting the Canola Junior Men’s and Women’s Provincials, December 26-31, 2017 in Altona MB. The event is being held between the Altona Curling Club and the Millennium Exhibition Centre, giving the opportunity for Manitoba’s finest junior curlers to compete on arena ice.
The respective winners of the Junior Men’s and Junior Women’s provincials will earn the opportunity to represent Manitoba at the New Holland Canadian Junior Men’s and Women’s Curling Championships, January 13-21, 2018 in Shawinigan, Quebec.
The Asham Coaching award is presented to a Coach in the Junior Men’s and Junior Women’s division. The award is presented to Coaches who demonstrate respect for officials, opponents, host committees and respective curling asssociations.
This years Junior Men’s recipient is Clayton Robins who coached Team Vachon from the Brandon Curling Club.
This years Junior Women’s recipient is Heather Hancox who is coaching Team Bevan from the St.Vital Curling Club.
