After suffering an upset loss Wednesday afternoon, Jennifer Jones and her St Vital team returned to form Thursday morning at the Manitoba Scotties Tournament of Hearts presented by Monsanto.
Team Jones gave up a steal of three to Jennifer Briscoe (Burntwood) on the sixth end of the morning game in Killarney but still led 7-5 at tha point and went on to an 11-6 victory.
Shannon Birchard (Thistle) also had a bounce back win on the morning draw – defeating Alyssa Calvert (Carberry) 9-3.
Jones and Birchard both have 2-1 records after three games along with Brianne Meilleur (Fort Rouge) and Joelle Brown (Charleswood).
Brown stole three coming home to post a 10-8 win over Kristy Watling (Fort Rouge) and Meilleur defeated Lisa Hale-Menard (Dauphin) 9-2.
