The Fort Rouge Curling Club hosted the 2019 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship Nov. 4-10, 2018.
Team Manitoba defeated Team Nova Scotia 7-4 to capture gold at the 2019 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018. Skip Colin Kurz, third Megan Walter, second Brendan Bilawka, and lead Sara Oliver will represent Canada at the World Mixed Curling Championship (location and dates TBA by the World Curling Federation). It is Manitoba’s ninth Canadian Mixed gold medal.
Quebec, who lost the semifinal to Manitoba earlier, defeated Ontario 7-6 to capture the bronze medal.
