The Past Presidents’ Association, as its’ names indicates, is an Association formed to retain the interest in the game of curling among curlers who have been presidents of their respective clubs. Any past president of a club affiliated with CurlManitoba is eligible for membership. The Association was founded May 4th, 1928.
The objectives of the Association are to maintain interest and promote good fellowship in the game of curling and promote curling in the province of Manitoba. The activities consist of an annual dinner and general meeting in the spring and a golf tournament in early summer. Any past presidents interested in joining the Association should contact the Secretary.

The MLPPCA was founded in 1932. The aim of the association is to provide opportunities for its members to meet to promote friendship and camaraderie between all Manitoba ladies curling clubs.
Any woman who has been a president of any curling club or league anywhere in the world, is welcome to become a member of the association for a nominal annual fee.
We host two events annually: our one- day fun bonspiel with lunch held in November and the Spring luncheon with Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in May.
There are club representatives who are the main contacts for all members. Without these individuals, our association would not be able to promote our activities and encourage new members to join.
On the 24 November 2023, we held our fun bonspiel at the Granite Curling Club. It was an enjoyable day attended by 39 members – 24 curlers and 15 who attended the lunch only. We are working on the date and location for the 2024 bonspiel.
MLPPCA held our annual luncheon and AGM on 06 May 2024 at the Viscount Gort Hotel. We had 69 members attend representing 15 clubs. It was a lovely lunch and successful meeting. Our next AGM and luncheon will be 05 May 2025 at the Viscount Gort oHotelHHotel.
Our association currently has 91 paid members but we are always looking for new members to join. There are opportunities to assist with organizing the social luncheons and curling day.
