SportManitoba in partnership with CurlManitoba hosted the U18 Manitoba Games powered by Manitoba Hydro March 4-7 2018 at the Burntwood Curling Club in Thompson Manitoba. The Gold Medal winners of the Men’s and Women’s will represent Manitoba at the 2018 U18 National Championship April 9-14th in St. Andrews New Brunswick.
Male Gold Medal Game
Winnipeg Blue (Brett Walter) played South 1 (Josh Friesen) for the Gold medal and the right to represent Manitoba in St.Andrews.
Brett Walter defeated Josh Friesen 5-3 in the Gold Medal Final.
Male Bronze Medal Games
Winnipeg Gold (Ryan Wiebe) played South 2 (Jayden Rutter) for the Bronze medal
Ryan Wiebe defeated Jayden Rutter 6-1 to earn the Bronze Medal.

Winnipeg Gold (Meghan Walter) played West 2 (Emma Jensen) for the Gold medal
Emma Jensen defeated Meghan Walter 4-3 in the Gold Medal Final.

Winnipeg Blue (Katy Lukowich) will play North (Shaelynn Lukey) for the Bronze medal.
Katy Lukowich defeated Shaelynn Lukey 7-5 to earn the Bronze Medal.
